Tick Tock - Around the Clock Shower

My first shower was hosted by Anne Marie, Laura and Katy Potts.

Laura, Katy and Anne Marie did a marvelous job hosting my first shower for my Knoxville friends. One of my favorite parts of the day was getting to see Katy's new house that her and her (somewhat) new husband, Langdon, have been remodeling. They have done everything from scrapping off the popcorn ceiling, tearing down walls to refinishing cabinets and getting new kitchen appliances. To say it looks awesome is an understatement. But...back to the shower.

Laura had the great idea of having an Around the Clock shower. On the invitations, Laura gave every girl a time, and they had the task of bringing a gift that Nick and I could use during that time. It was a huge success! We started the clock at 12:00 AM and went through the day. It kept things interesting for everyone (or at least I thought so) because everyone wanted to see how creative people were with their time slot.

Here is rundown of the time and what each gal came up with :

12:00 AM : Outside balcony lights and a decoration that read "Always Kiss Me Goodnight"
5:00 AM :   4 Cereal Bowls (This attendee had high hopes for my wake up time)
6:00 AM : Iron (inside joke...don't you love those?)
7:00 AM : Toaster
8:00 AM :   Towels (morning shower, anyone?)
9:00 AM :  Bisquick, measuring cups, whisk and spatula (this was Nick's favorite gift)
11:30 AM : Pitcher (maybe a future bridal shower?)
12:00 PM : Pyrex mixing bowls and dishes WITH LIDS
3:30 PM : serving bowl
6:30 PM : outdoor flag and microwave (my FMIL had the inside scoop..Nick and I needed a microwave for the new place)
9:00 PM : drink dispenser (this is oh, so cool. It is actually two drink dispensers in one. One for sweet tea and one for lemonade.)
10:30 PM : towels
